It has been 7 years now that she has called FJHS home. Tiffany is a certified teacher, school librarian, and has earned her Master’s plus 30 degree in Administration and Supervision from Southeastern Louisiana University. Outside of the library she serves on various committees and manages to juggle several duties which include: Title 1 school coordinator, School Improvement, LA GEAR UP, LaTAAP Assessor, School/District Technology Team. Technology

Ms. Sheryl Crain

FJHS Technology Facilitator:  Ms. Sheryl M. Crain (NBCT)

Ms. Sheryl Crain is a 14 year veteran of the classroom, and she is currently working as a technology facilitator at FJHS. Ms. Crain has a bachelor's degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in Elementary Education and a master's degree in Curriculum and Instruction with K-12 gifted certification from the same university. She has also completed National Board Certification and is currently pursuing a doctorate degree in Educational Leadership.

A Word From the Technology Facilitator:

Franklinton Junior High School is a leader in Washington Parish in the use of instructional technology.  Five computer labs, numerous classroom computers, laptops and projectors in every classroom, Elmo visual presenters in many classrooms, and interactive white boards in others, all combine to make FJHS the best in the parish in the use of technology and one of the best in the state. We work hard to make sure that all students and teachers have access to technology that enhances teaching and learning. In light of the access to such diverse technology, it is crucial that all students return the technology acceptable use policy that was given out at the beginning of the year. No student will be allowed to use any of the educational technology housed at FJHs unless this is on file at school. You may contact the technology resource teacher if you need another copy of the form.
